Created by Kernow Education Arts Partnership (KEAP) and funded by Arts Council England, the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, the RSA, Cornwall Council and Falmouth University, the project has three strands of activity, along with our digital Story Republic where everyone can upload and share their own work!
- The Story Republic in Schools – artists and writers visit school clusters to work with children, with the starting point of story, creating bespoke programmes which support literacy through the arts. Culminating in an installation of the results of all this creativity.
- The Story Republic Installations – popping up in shops, galleries and schools, plus our caravan installation that turns up at various different locations, these installations will inspire visitors and allow the public to engage interactively with stories.
- The Story Republicans – our entertaining team of glamorous performers who will be out and about at events, cafes, on the beach and more places again, sharing stories and poems.
- The Story Republic Online – an online platform where stories can be uploaded, shared and viewed in all their forms – written, illustrations, short films.
