Do you have an old mechanical typewriter that is feeling lost and unloved?
For our our 3 week residency in the summer we would like to gather together lots of old fashioned typewriters.
Between 30 July and 16 August, The Story Republic will be trading tales at The Exchange in Penzance, and we will be asking surrounding shops to host a typewriter where members of the public can stop to bang out a few words, or even start their first novel!
If you are happy to loan (or give!) us your typewriter please get in touch. We’re specifically looking for typewriters as pictured below.
You can bring your typewriter to the stage door at Hall For Cornwall in Truro or to The Exchange on Princes Street, Penzance. Please make sure you clearly include your name, address and contact details so we can arrange collection at the end of the residency.
We need the typewriters delivered by Wednesday 16 July.
