**Postponed** Creating Convincing Worlds – Adult Creative Writing Workshop with novelist Wyl Menmuir

** Wyl Menmuir has been in touch with us through the few minutes of internet time he had to advise that he’s stuck in Svalbard. He’s out that way with his writing work. There have been complications which has meant they’ve had to continue sailing north rather than return as intended. All is well though, nothing to worry about. Once he returns to the UK a new date will be set for this workshop and with some exciting tales from him we’re sure! **

Whether you’re writing a memoir, a sci-fi epic or the next literary classic, whether it’s set in the past, present or future, your fictional world will need to convince your reader completely. We’ll explore creating settings from life experience, researching and building settings, and delve into the balance between place, time, mood and context. By the end of the session, you’ll have begun work on a vivid fictional world (or several vivid fictional worlds!) in which your story can soar.
