This year we’ll be gracing the delights of Port Eliot Festival. Look out and listen up for us as we move from cafe’s to woodland, estate buildings to river trails, fine cream and cups of tea. We’ll have the poetry, tales, song and stories of Cornish writers Charles Causley, Nick Darke, Simon Parker and Anna Murphy.
Port Eliot… “It’s like falling from the sky into a magic garden where you will be constantly surprised and delighted; where you can drink, dance, discuss, dress up, camp, explore, get lost, fall asleep under the stars to the sound of Andrew Weatherall, and wake up to the ringing of church bells.”
Port Eliot is a festival unlike any other. When you go to Port Eliot, they welcome you as their guests. Whether you’re swimming in the estuary, picnicking under a 300 year old tree, rocking out at the Park Stage, canoeing on the river, catching an intimate gig in the church, watching a cooking demo in the Big Kitchen or dancing ‘til the wee hours in the Boogie Round – their home is yours for the weekend.
