Long, long ago in a land far, far away was a paradise bursting with multi-coloured trees. Living in this spectacular land was a group of cyclops, who played happily eveyday. When the morning light stroked the trees, baby cyclops Bob, noticed a remarkable, silver butterfly fluttering in the wind. Unfortunately, he decided to bounce after it. Suddenly, he turned around and realised…he was lost!
Later that day, his big brother Bubble, notices that Bob is missing. As Bob’s big brother Bubble sets off to find him, his mother cries out, “Be back for dinner!” High in the mountain, Bubble found a silver bush. “Hmm, that’s a bit weird up here.” There in front of him was a note and the note said: “Be at the Night Castle in the midnight hour or else your brother will be gone!”
“Hmm, this is going to be hard!” mumbled Bubble.
At the dead of night, Bubble reached the castle. Traps sprang everywhere. He stood. Terror swept through him. How in the world was he going to find his brother? Suddenly, he saw Bob who was locked up with chains! He rushed to help at just the right time, as the evil gnomes had gone inside, and spied the key hanging on the side of the castle. “The key! The key! Aha!” He exclaimed intensely as he ran to the key. He grabbed it, unlocked Bob and both of them ran home. Fortunately, no one saw them.
They got back at just the right time because dad hadn’t noticed they were gone. If he had, it would have been a whole different story! And in a bad way!
