The Writers' Block is an inspirational writing and creativity hub for the whole community.

We have a programme of activities throughout the year that ranges from the authorial arts of drawing and illustration to creative writing, poetry and spoken word performance.

Schools programme – in person and digital workshops and programmes to increase confidence, skills and enjoyment in writing.

Little Story Seekers – a story, song and movement session for very young children and their parents and carers.

Young Writers – a friendly monthly group for young people with a love of creative writing to develop hone their skills.

Adult writing for wellbeing workshops – run by professional writers.

Adult Creative Writing Masterclasses – run on a variety of themes, styles, modes and genres.

Speakeasy – a space for writers to test out their work on a friendly audience, or just to listen to new talent.

Teachers as Writers – a workshop to give teachers the tools to be confident creative writers.

Podcasts – speaking with Cornwall-based writers on creative writing in times of change.
